Most MAPO agreements are competitively bid by the Host Agency on behalf of members that wish to participate in the specified commodity and/or service. Extensions may be granted to the selected vendor(s) in accordance with bid terms and conditions.
Certain agreements ("price agreements") are based on discount off manufacturer's published price list only. These agreements are not competitively bid, and are renewed on an annual basis at the discretion of the Host Agency.
